Learn Extreme, based in the UK, is dedicated to sharing good practice; through this website and by delivering programmes of professional development.
Teachers with many years experience and passionate about increasing the learning opportunities of young people through the use of technology have come together to form Learn Extreme.

Journal - the latest news of what we are doing, articles and activities by other innovators in the field of technology based learning and feedback and comments from readers.
Games Dimension focuses on the interaction between gaming and learning. Can the education system and the learning of young people benefit from understanding and exploiting the power of computer games. We believe it can and we are looking forward to sharing our thoughts and ideas.
Professional Development (PD)- Learn Extreme associates have extensive experience at providing thoughtful, focused, effective programmes developed around the specific needs of the commissioning organisation. Programmes can be single sessions, individual days or long term, providing continuous and progressive support for learning delivery transformation.
Making learning processes more engaging, effective and efficient may require deep and significant changes to the practices of schools. Supporting school senior leaders, faculty and department heads and individual educators is key to success. We understand the challenges of the process and the potential risks, by bringing this understanding to support school based change management processes we seek to make the experience an effective and positive one.
Resources - Lists and reflections of software and online applications which we have used with teachers and students to engage learners and enhance teaching.

Richard Healey of Learn Extreme is also a founding member of Space Education Adventures; a not for profit organisation, created to provide 17 & 18 year old students with outstanding grades in STEM subjects the opportunity to visit and work with scientists and engineers at Johnson Space Centre, Houston and Kennedy Space Centre, Florida.
